Writing is my life; however, so is effecting change in the lives of others, as I genuinely desire for everyone to live his/her best life. This page is dedicated to my organization, A Pathway to Hope and Home, Inc, a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit I founded to carry out this mission.
While we offer a variety of services, core to our mission, and relevant to my writing, is the fight against hunger, nationwide and internationally. This platform is of particular importance because I am a fantasy food writer. The overabundance of food in this world makes the presence of hunger in any corner of it, inexcusable. We plan to align with other nonprofits that promote a similar mission to raise funding to develop irrigation systems, build wells, increase access to education, and teach effective and sustainable farming methods. As well, we plan to connect individuals who desire to be entrepreneurs but happen to find themselves victims of hunger or live in communities where there is a consistent shortage of food, to cash funding and credit for the purpose of starting businesses that will facilitate self sufficiency and create income-producing opportunities for others affected by hunger. As the old adage goes, “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.
